An important game if the Dons wanted to try and obtain automatic promotion.
Travelled by car and quite easy although we missed a turning which meant a tour of Nottingham.
Found a small car park just a 1 minute walk to the Stadium which cost £5.
Visited the Trent Navigation which is just a very short walk from the ground. Excellent real ale at just £4 a pint and a very good atmosphere with both home & away fans young & old mixing with no problems.
Had the All Day Breakfast in the Trent Navigation and it was good although at £13 it should be.
Just had an excellent coffee for £2 which is really very good value.
Away fans are along the side of the pitch and offer excellent views of the pitch with no posts in the way. You can also see the top of a stand across the Trent of Nottingham Forest Football Club. Lots of noise generated in this stand and it is easily one of the best in the League.
Home fans were a bit quiet which surprised me but when they did sing they were quite loud. A 3-3 draw helped in producing a wonderful atmosphere.
9/10
Very easy to get away from the stadium although a bit of traffic getting back to the motorway.
Approximately £60 for OAP ticket, food, drink and share of petrol which represented very good value bearing in mind the view and the excellent beer.
Very much so.
The stewards originally said we had to sit in our our allocated seats but I don’t think any of our fans actually did and the stewards just let us get on with it with no problems.
