This was a ground I had never been to before. Also I was looking forward to meeting up with a school friend for a couple of beers.
I travelled by train from Witham which was a fairly easy journey.
We had a walk around London Bridge/Borough Market area and had a beer in the Flat Iron Square.
I ate at The Refinery which had very good service and was reasonably priced.
All you needed really – beer, soft drinks, pies, sausages rolls etc.
Decent view, packed in the upper tier.
Very good from the away fans. Millwall fans were a bit quiet, until they scored!
10/10 – usual banter between fans!
Very easy, as we left 10 mins before the final whistle.
Around £75 (ticket, travel, food, drink and programme). Not too bad.
Yes, a decent away day for me.
I went there because I hadn’t been to The Den yet, so it’s always nice to discover new grounds. Plus I knew the away end would be full as it is a London Derby and the atmosphere would be good which I was looking forward to.
I took the tube and the train, was pretty easy as it is quite local. Way easier than going to Manchester or Liverpool or further afield.
I went to The George in London Bridge and the atmosphere was great.
The pint prices were fairly good.
It was a pretty good away end, good view.
The Home end was almost empty so home support was non-existent but away support was very good.
4/10
Very easy as the away end brings you directly to the station.
Yes, definitely!
